Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using RenderOps (“Service”), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with any of these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of the Service

RenderOps is a SaaS data intelligence platform that allows you to connect databases and external APIs for exploration, visualization, automation, and AI-powered analysis.

3. Account and Access

  • Access to RenderOps is performed via GitHub OAuth authentication.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your GitHub account.
  • Each account can create workspaces to organize connections, dashboards, and members.
  • You are responsible for all activities performed under your account.

4. Acceptable Use

By using RenderOps, you agree NOT to:

  • Use the Service for illegal or unauthorized purposes.
  • Attempt to access data from other users or workspaces without authorization.
  • Perform scraping, crawling, or automated actions that overload the infrastructure.
  • Share access credentials with unauthorized third parties.
  • Use the Service to store or transmit malicious content.

5. Data and Connections

  • RenderOps accesses databases and APIs through credentials you provide.
  • Queried data transits through the service but is not permanently stored. Only connection metadata (host, port, database type) is persisted.
  • Connection credentials are stored in encrypted form.
  • You are solely responsible for the backup, integrity, and security of data in your original databases and APIs.
  • RenderOps does not modify data in your databases, except when explicitly requested via Custom Actions.

6. Intellectual Property

  • The source code, design, brand, and documentation of RenderOps are the exclusive property of its creators.
  • Data stored in your databases is your property.
  • Dashboards, queries, and configurations created in RenderOps are your property within the scope of the Service.

7. Limitation of Liability

RenderOps is provided “as-is”. We are not liable for:

  • Loss or corruption of data in connected databases.
  • Decisions made based on analyses or dashboards generated by the Service.
  • Temporary unavailability of the Service.
  • Incorrect results generated by artificial intelligence.
  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the Service.

8. Availability

  • The Service is offered on a best-effort basis.
  • There is no SLA (Service Level Agreement) guarantee for the free plan.
  • We reserve the right to perform scheduled maintenance with prior notice.

9. Cancellation and Deletion

  • You may close your account at any time.
  • After cancellation, your connection data and configurations will be removed within 30 days.
  • Data in your original databases is not affected by cancellation.

10. Changes to Terms

  • We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time.
  • Significant changes will be communicated with at least 30 days’ notice.
  • Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

11. Governing Law

  • These Terms are governed by Brazilian law, including the General Data Protection Law (LGPD — Law No. 13,709/2018).
  • The courts of São Paulo/SP are elected to resolve any disputes.
